Aircraft Maintenance Technician


We have a great opportunities for Aircraft Maintenance Technicians who are looking for a high-quality customer-oriented environment who can contribute to our success drivers of product delivered “on time, on budget and squawk free.”

We are looking for motivated candidates with A&P license and working experience within general aviation, specifically with Cirrus, Piper, light turbine and pistons. Our maintenance team works on privately owned aircraft which includes light jets.  Duties include inspection, repair, and modification of the entire aircraft and special equipment, including the overhaul of some components.  Work must be completed according to manufacturer specifications and FAA rules & regulations. 

We are looking for someone to work in a team environment and work with minimal supervision in our well-maintained friendly shop.

The ideal candidate will have working experience in maintenance on general aviation aircraft along with solid knowledge of materials, methods, tools, and standard practices of the aircraft mechanic trade. Experience with the repair of sheet metal and composite structures helpful. Must bring own tools to the job.

DLK Aviation Apprentice

As an apprentice at DLK Aviation, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and receive training geared towards earning your airframe and power plant certifications.  As an A & P, The Advanced Propulsion System Training Program will expose you to advanced theories, concepts and systems so that you can advance your career towards Inspector Authorization (IA).  

DLK Aviation Apprenticeship and Development Program Outline:

  • Workplace Orientation 
  • Shop Equipment Orientation 
  • General Airframe – Apprentices will work with a crew chief to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and complete repairs on all aircraft systems and locations.
  • General Powerplant – Apprentices will work with a crew chief to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and complete repairs on aircraft piston engines. propellers, ignition systems, cylinders, and light turbine engines. 
  • Avionics – Avionics apprentices  will be trained on: Test equipment, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing avionics systems including : Garmin,  Avidyne, L3,  Appareo,  U-Avionix,  and Genesys Aerosystems. 
  • Parachute Installations – Trainee will work with a Cirrus Trained Mechanic to learn, develop, and demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
