DLK was incorporated in 1978 and has been located at McCollum Airport for almost 20 years. Dan Kendall, the owner of DLK Aviation, Inc., has over 39 years experience in the aviation industry, including 27 years military Air Force training and experience. He is an I.A. Inspector and an A&P Mechanic, a FAA Authorized Examiner, a Designated Maintenance Examiner, as well as a pilot.

Kendall knows from 39 years of experience that to stay on the cutting edge of aviation maintenance today requires experienced mechanics, on-going training, a well-stocked inventory, and a state-of-the-art hangar and equipment. At DKL Aviation, Inc., you will find all of these and more.

DLK hangar utilizes 10,000 square feet of clean, well insulated space with 8,000 square feet dedicated to maintenance and work stations, and 2000 square feet of office and parts storage. Mr. Kendall states, "A clean, comfortable working environment combined with the right equipment to do the job helps his employees to produce a higher level of customer service and satisfaction."
