CYLINDER REWORK AND RESURFACING
EXHAUST PORTS
Cylinder
valves and seats can be ground (rings and valve guides replaced, if required)
at DLK's engine shop. Downtime on aircraft can be reduced by two to three
days. At the same time DLK is able to resurface exhaust ports on engine cylinders
in most aircraft in about three hours, saving labor and shipping costs.

DYNAMIC
PROP BALANCING
DLK
is a certified Dynamic Propeller Balancing specialist. Out-of-balance propellers
cause vibration which promotes premature failure of components and reduces
service life. 80% of propellers can be improved by Dynamic Prop Balancing.
CORROSION
X
DLK
is a Corrosion X specialist. Corrosion cannot be ignored. If left untreated,
it will eventually erode the value of your aircraft and can be an expensive
repair. Corrosion X is the best corrosion preventative in the marketplace.
It is recommended that an aircraft be treated every 2 to 3 years.
SPECTROMETRIC
OIL ANALYSIS
DLK
is a certified oil analysis diagnostic center. A spectrometric oil analysis
is an inexpensive diagnostic tool for monitoring engine wear. Oil analysis
not only measures wear rates, but locates the cause by performing an accurate
test for abrasives to make sure the oil is performing well.
